The burning area will quickly melt/liquefy.
After removing the flame, it will keep burning strongly with a large flame and produce dark smoke.
Once cooled to room temperature, the burned area will leave a sticky black residue and harden into a black solid.
Compare: If it burns similarly to known plastic items, it's likely a counterfeit silicone made of TPR.

(2) Testing for Genuine Silicone:
Hold a lighter to the brush head. It can be ignited, but less easily than the counterfeit.
The burning area does not melt/liquefy.
After removing the flame, it may keep burning but with a smaller flame and produce light white smoke.
Once cooled to room temperature, the burned area will leave white ash.
Compare: If it burns similarly to known silicone items (like a baby bottle nipple), it's likely genuine silicone.
