Marking spaces are positioned to layout 1X, 2X, 4X and 6X lumber in widths from 1' to 6' as well as LVL's. Additional slots are positioned to mark 22.5, 30, 45 and 60 degree angle cuts. V-notches are located at each roof pitch to help accurately align your pencil when marking common top cuts. The frame has 1/16' scale graduations for precision and measures all the way to 7-1/4' to reach the full width of a 2x8 material. Scribe notches for ripping lumber are positioned every 1/8'. The 1' wide multifunctional heel with replaceable level vial serves as a torpedo to indicate level and plumb and allows angle or roof pitch measurements on existing structures. The heel also features 1/16' scale graduations on the bottom and both sides offering maximum versatility with rapid and reliable measuring.
